The largest one of 4.2kg was caught on sardine.
The Dam level is up due to some rain received upstream in the catchment area, and we are hoping for some good rains during the summer season to raise the level of the Dam. Be careful of tree stumps and structures that may be protruding from or just below the water level.
Total Tiger Fish:
An average of 489 Tiger Fish were caught this month off the Pongola Game Reserve boats, we an increase in numbers in the 2kg+ range.
A few Barbel and Bream were also caught while fishing for Tiger Fish. Worms and chicken hearts also worked well for Bream.
Not only was it a good fishing month enjoyed by all, but the game viewing from the water was excellent with some great sightings of elephant thrown into the mix as well. Don’t miss out on a great relaxing summer experience, book soon!
